Applicants who are unsuccessful in the draw will now have the opportunity to donate a portion or all of their license refund to Access Yes or Wyoming Wildlife Trust Fund.You must purchase a point during the point only time frame, which is July 3 to Oct. Preference point reminder: Unsuccessful applicants will not automatically be given a preference point if unsuccessful in the draw.It may be open for 2023, but it will not be decided until the late April commission meeting. Area 123 was closed for Type 1 elk in 20.It was closed this past season (2022) and should be open to apply going into the 2023 draw. Area 113 is typically open every other year.Those funds will not be refunded to your card until late May if you are unsuccessful in the draw. The quickest and simplest way to get results this year is to check your email. The Wyoming Game and Fish Department plans to release draw results for resident elk and resident and nonresidents deer, antelope, fall turkey and sandhill crane licenses on the morning of June 17.
